Glyceryl monostearate is one of the most widely used emulsifiers in food and cosmetics.
1. It can be used as a preservative of meat products, dairy products, beer, soy sauce, and can also be used for the preservation of oranges, peaches, lychees and other fruits.
2. In food processing, it is used as a bread softener and as an defoaming agent for soy products. It is used as an emulsifier and stabilizer in dairy products, margarine and pastries.
3. It is an emulsifier in the manufacture of daily necessities and an good raw material for cream products. It is used to prepare cosmetic creams and lotions.
4. It is used as an emulsifier for industrial silk oils and as a lubricant for textiles.
