Relative density of BHT is 1.048,boiling point is 257-265℃ and flash point is 126.6℃ ,It is slightly soluble in benzene,toluene,acetone,ethanol,carbon tetrachloride,ethyl acetate and gasoline.It is insoluble in water and dilute sodium hydroxide.This product is nontoxic and will gradually deteriorate when exposed to light with using effects affected.
Application:This product is a very important variety among non-pollutant antioxidants and it has a certain protecting effects against the heated oxidation of the natural rubber,and synthetic rubbers such as buthl benzene,butylnitrile ect.It can be applied to the manufacturing of white,multi-colored,light,and transparent rubber products(such as rubber shoes and rubber cloth products).
